  • Files you upload (PDFs, Word documents, text files)

  • Your email address is used to send account confirmation emails
  • Your email address is used to send automated study reminder notifications on scheduled review dates via a background job system based on spaced repetition intervals
  • Your uploaded files are processed to generate quizzes using AI
  • We do not sell your data to anyone

4. Third Parties We Share Data With We work with carefully selected third party service providers to operate SpacedRep. Your data may be shared with the following categories of providers:

  • An email delivery provider receives your email address solely to deliver transactional and reminder emails on our behalf
  • A file storage provider securely stores files you upload to the platform
  • Your uploaded files are processed to generate quizzes using AI
  • An AI processing provider receives the content of your uploaded files solely for the purpose of generating quizzes. File content is not stored by us after processing

All third party providers are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and only for the purposes described above.

5. Data Retention We keep your account data and uploaded files for as long as your account is active. You can delete your files at any time from within the app. To delete your account contact us directly.

7. Security We take reasonable steps to protect your data. However no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children SpacedRep is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
